Barbara Podobnik, 2020, undergraduate thesis

Abstract: The paper includes a presentation and growth strategy for EdVRd Education AB whose aim is to grow and expand globally. By using specific methods and tools, I prepared a plan to ensure the desired growth of the company and I also researched through an online survey with key customers. The paper aims to use specific tools to explore the company’s growth potential and whether there is a need for the product in the market. Furthermore, I also determined the most suitable pricing and development strategy for the company. Since the paper concluded that the company has prerequisites to grow, it will be used during the growth as well as a tool to attract potential investors.

Technology - mediated commuting: research on 2020 pandemic switch to remote work
Marsel Valiev, 2020, master's thesis

Abstract: In today's world more and more workflows take place online. Business meetings are replaced by conference calls and it is not necessary to print an important document to sign it, just click the mouse a couple of times. As a result of technical progress, many companies and employees have come to the conclusion that it is possible to interact quite comfortably on a remote basis, yet maintaining a high efficiency level. Remote work is a global trend which is not a surprise since such an approach to the organization of labor has many advantages the first of which is economic and environmental benefit. A company with a staff of remote employees does not need to maintain an office: spend on stationery, pay for utilities and rent. The employee saves money on travel, food and can get additional sleep in the morning, something we all need sometimes. It is usually difficult for an employee to maintain perfect balance between personal life and career in the traditional way. He spends a lot of time in public transportation or in a traffic jam, periodically lingers in the office and gets exhausted, when he is late to work, he gets nervous, and things just do not go well. What if it could all be different from how we used to do it? In this research, I set myself the task of highlighting the problem of how ineffective some of our actions are simply because we do some things the way we have beeen doing them for ages, rather than rethink and do them in the right way.

Petra Kleindienst, 2019, original scientific article

Abstract: Europe 2020 strategy of smart, sustainable and inclusive growth also implies policies for boosting social innovations. In this context, it is relevant to encourage solutions such as social entrepreneurship as it is addressing social and environmental issues while employing entrepreneurship. Social entrepreneurship depends on the context of its emergence and implementation. In this regard, the context-specific factors play an important role. Following the Cultural Political Economy approach, the article examines on different factors that have influenced on the adoption of amendments of the Slovenian Social Entrepreneurship Act in 2018. Selection of the case study of Slovenia bases on the findings implying that Slovenia has still not overcome the initial phase of the development of the social entrepreneurship. The article reveals that there are still issues relevant for running social enterprises that are not sufficiently regulated by the law. One of them is a training of the vulnerable groups in terms of their technological skills in order to ensure their efficiency and productiveness in Work Integration Social Enterprises.
