2. Advancing circular economy in Slovenia : a systematic review of industrial symbiosis networks and their opportunitiesErika Džajić Uršič, Alenka Pandiloska Jurak, Urška Fric, Jelena Topić Božič, Simon Muhič, Janez Kolar, 2024, pregledni znanstveni članek Opis: This article reviews the development and strengths of Industrial Symbiosis Networks (ISN) in Slovenia, which is crucial for transitioning to a Circular Economy (CE). Industrial Symbiosis (IS), as one of the tools for implementing a circular economy, promotes the collaborative use of resources, energy, and waste among industries, enhancing resource efficiency and reducing environmental impact. However, challenges such as inadequate regulatory support, underdeveloped markets for secondary raw materials, financial constraints, lack of awareness, and data-sharing issues hinder IS adoption. This article systematically reviews CE opportunities to enhance IS, including examples, digital platforms, eco-industrial parks, and government initiatives, using the PRISMA model (Preferred Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis). By addressing these challenges and leveraging opportunities, Slovenia can further integrate IS into its industrial framework, advancing its CE goals. This analysis provides a foundation for future research and policy development in Slovenian Industrial Symbiosis. 3. Blockchain and sustainability : examining the future of a circular economy due to new technologiesGorazd Justinek, 2024, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: When talking about blockchain technology in academia, business, and society, it is frequently generalized that blockchain technology inherently consumes significant amounts of energy. Such perceptions raise substantial concerns regarding the potential for widespread adoption of blockchain systems, a fact that inhibits rapid uptake of what is widely considered to be a ground-breaking and disruptive innovation. Nonetheless, blockchain technology exhibits significant heterogeneity, meaning that blanket statements about its energy consumption should be reviewed with care. In order to move to circular economy and to achieve the Sustainable Development Agenda, energy efficiency must see a twofold improvement by the year 2030. Blockchain represents an emerging technological domain capable of addressing these challenges. There has been a lot of research on the topic of blockchain efficiency and circular economy, however this paper examines the intersection of sustainable development, the circular economy, and blockchain technology, analyzing the potential of blockchain to augment circular economic models while advancing sustainability objectives, even amidst concerns about energy efficiency. Ključne besede: Blockchain, circular economy, energy efficiency, Agenda 2030 Objavljeno v ReVIS: 24.03.2025; Ogledov: 1945; Prenosov: 10

7. Impact of energy efficiency on the residential buildings appraisal : bachelorArb Govori, 2017, diplomsko delo Opis: Demand for integration of energy efficient feature in the buildings valuation methodologies has increased significantly in the last decades, by the residential buildings owners. However, energy efficient feature is still largely unseen on building's real estate appraisals, due to not inclusion as a relevant feature on the buildings evaluation methodologies. It is essential that professional appraisals and the relevant state authorities are confronted with a new reality in changing the perception of the value of the residential buildings and offers concrete recommendations how to integrate the energy efficiency feature at the very early stage of appraisal methodologies. The aim of this paper is to determine the contribution of residential buildings energy efficient improvements into residential buildings valuation approaches. A simple methodology, through Sales Comparison Approach (SCA), is proposed to be considered in the valuation of residential buildings, taking into consideration the integration of energy efficient improvements. The simplified SCA calculation of a case study has revealed that sale price effects from increased energy efficiency are significant and positive.
