Title:Učinek treninga dvojne naloge na zmogljivost hoje in ravnotežja pri starejših

Abstract:Uvod in namen: Sposobnost opravljanja več opravil hkrati je bistvena v vsakdanjem življenju. Opravljanje dvojne naloge je pri starejših bolj zahtevno. Imajo več težav pri ravnotežju, ker se hkrati osredotočijo na nekaj drugega. Za preprečevanje dejavnikov tveganj za padce je dobro vključiti trening dvojne naloge za izboljšanje njihovih sposobnosti pri hoji in ravnotežju. Namen je proučiti učinke treninga dvojne naloge, in to na zmogljivost hoje in ravnotežja. Metode: Uporabili smo opisno metodo, s proučitvijo literature v angleškem jeziku, objavljeno med letoma 2012 in 2023. Rezultati: Trening dvojne naloge se izkazuje za bolj učinkovitega kot standardne terapevtske vaje, izboljša njihovo ravnotežje in zmogljivost hoje. Delno se strinjamo s tem, da trening dvojne naloge zmanjša pojavnost padcev. Uporabnost: Pridobljeni rezultati kažejo, da je trening dvojne naloge dosti bolj učinkovit v primerjavi s tradicionalnimi terapevtskimi vajami, saj pomembno prispeva k izboljšanju ravnotežja in hoje pri starejših. Za optimizacijo rehabilitacijskih izidov pri tej populaciji ali kot del preventivnih programov, priporočamo integracijo vadbenih programov, ki združujejo motorične in kognitivne dvojne naloge. Takšen pristop ne le da izboljšuje funkcionalne sposobnosti, ampak tudi pozitivno vpliva na kognitivne funkcije, vključno s pozornostjo. Omejitve: Potrebno bi bilo opraviti raziskave s podobnim številom preiskovancev in v podobnih bivalnih okoljih, ki bi vključevale po zaključku intervencije daljše obdobje spremljanja.

Title:Effect of dual-task training on walking and balance performance in the elderly
Abstract:Introduction and purpose: The ability to multitask is essential in everyday life. Performing dual tasks is more challenging for the elderly. They experience more difficulties with balance when simultaneously focusing on something else. To prevent risk factors for falls, it is beneficial to include dual-task training to improve their walking and balance abilities. The aim is to examine the effects of dual-task training on walking performance and balance. Methods: A descriptive approach was utilized, involving a review of literature published in English from 2012 to 2023. Results: Dual-task training has proven to be more effective than standard therapeutic exercises, improving balance and walking performance. We partially agree that dual-task training reduces the incidence of falls. Usability: The results obtained show that dual-task training is significantly more effective than traditional therapeutic exercises, as it notably improves balance and walking in the elderly. To optimize rehabilitation outcomes for this population or as part of preventive programs, we recommend integrating exercise programs that combine motor and cognitive dual tasks. This approach not only enhances functional abilities but also has a positive impact on cognitive functions, including attention. Limitations: Further research with a similar number of participants and in similar living environments, which would include a longer follow-up period after the intervention, is necessary.
