Title:Storitve v oblaku - prevajanje v oblaku

Abstract:Tema diplomske naloge je vse bolj popularna tehnologija računalništva v oblaku, njenih storitev in razlik med njimi. Po kratkem uvodu sledi teoretični del, kjer so v podpoglavjih natančneje predstavljeni zgodovina računalništva v oblaku, tipi storitev (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS in FaaS) in tipi namestitev računalništva v oblaka (zasebni, javni, hibridni,…). Zaradi pomembnosti informacijske varnosti bo ločeno podpoglavje osredotočeno v varnost in zasebnost računalništva v oblaku, kjer so tudi opisane razlike v primerjavi s tradicionalnimi sistemi. Sledili mu bosta še podpoglavje, ki navaja prednosti in slabosti računalništva v oblaku ter podpoglavje, v katerem je omenjena smer računalništva v oblaku v prihodnosti in različni izzivi, ki jih bo treba rešiti. V tretjem poglavju so najprej navedeni cilji in raziskovalna vprašanja diplomske naloge, obrazložitev delovanja prevajalnika v oblaku ter kratka primerjava prevajalnikov glavnih ponudnikov storitev v oblaku. Nato je predstavljena narejena delujoča aplikacija, ki uporablja storitve prevajanja v oblaku in prikaz njene uporabe. Aplikacija je spletna stran, ki uporablja Google Translate API za prevajanje besedila in je implementirana z uporabo programskega jezika JavaScript. Na koncu so podani odgovori na raziskovalna vprašanja diplomske naloge, s katerimi smo ugotovili, da ni več velikih razlik med glavnimi ponudniki storitve prevajanja v oblaku.

Title:Cloud computing - cloud translation
Abstract:The topic of the thesis is the increasingly popular technology of cloud computing, its services and the differences between them. After a short introduction, follows the theoretical part, where separate subchapters present the history of cloud computing, types of services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and FaaS) and types of cloud computing deployments (private, public, hybrid, etc.) in more detail. Due to the importance of information security, a separate subchapter will focus on the security and privacy of cloud computing, where the differences compared to traditional systems are also described. It will be followed by a subchapter that lists the advantages and disadvantages of cloud computing and a subchapter that mentions the direction of cloud computing in the future and the various challenges that will have to be solved. The third chapter first presents the objectives and research questions of the thesis, an explanation of how cloud translation works and a brief comparison of the translators of the main cloud service providers. Next, a working application that uses cloud translation services is presented and a demonstration of its use is shown. The application is a website that uses Google Translate API to translate text and is implemented using the JavaScript programming language. At the end, the answers to the research questions of the thesis are given, with which we found that there are no longer any big differences between the main cloud translation service providers.
