Abstract:Pacienti v hipovolemičnem šoku zaradi opekline so v smrtni nevarnosti, zato sta potrebna hitra prepoznava in primerno ukrepanje. Empirični del temelji na zbranih, analiziranih in sintetiziranih primarnih in sekundarnih virih. Primarni podatki so pridobljeni z anketiranjem.

Title:THE NURSE'S ROLE IN THE RECOGNITION AND TREATMENT OF HYPOVOLEMIC SHOCK IN THE BURN PATIENT
Abstract:Patients in hypovolemic shock due to burns are in a life-threatening condition, and rapid recognition and appropriate action are required to improve the condition. The action involves different interventions by nurses in different settings, but they always have the same patient in common, whose condition can change from minute to minute. Prevention of worsening of the condition includes recognition, observation, monitoring and immediate action as well as cooperation in a team, of which the nurse is also a key part. The research was based on a quantitative research approach and a descriptive work method. The empirical part was based on collected, analyzed and synthesized primary and secondary sources. Primary data was obtained using the survey technique. Secondary data was collected by reviewing domestic and foreign scientific and professional literature and internet databases. The in-depth knowledge of hypovolemia and the burn patient varies more than the knowledge of interventions and measures that nurses have in different workplaces. The different environment is an indicator of the differences between the responses of the respondents, but the interventions in nursing are nevertheless well known to all who do this work.
