Abstract:Teoretična izhodišča: Zdravstvena nega pri poškodbi rame vključuje celostno obravnavo pacienta, kjer je medicinska sestra osredotočena na zmanjševanje bolečine, obnovo gibljivosti in preprečevanje zapletov.

Title:NURSING CARE IN SHOULDER INJURY
Abstract:Theoretical background: Nursing care for shoulder injuries involves a holistic approach to the patient, where the nurse focuses on reducing pain, restoring mobility and preventing complications. In her work, she encounters many nursing problems, which she successfully solves with her expertise and knowledge throughout the treatment. The aim is to speed up the patient's recovery and reduce the patient's dependence on outside help. The aim of this study is to investigate nursing care for shoulder injury. Methods: The research, which was carried out in June 2024, used a qualitative research approach and a descriptive method of work. A purposive sample was selected and six nurses who manage patients with shoulder injury on a daily basis were interviewed using an interview technique. Results: All interviewees said that the nurse plays a big role in helping patients with basic activities of life. She helps them to achieve the same level of independence. The specific nursing care of the patient with a shoulder injury is to prepare the patient mentally and physically for surgery, to assist with basic activities of living, to assess and relieve pain, and to communicate in a way that the patient understands. Most of the interviewees felt that the nurse should also be alert to possible complications after surgery. Discussion: We found that nurses play a major role in assisting with basic activities of life, mental and physical preparation for surgery, and in the management and prevention of post-operative pain. Nursing is planned individually and holistically ,it puts the patient at the centre and the nurse is key in helping to improve the health of the patient with a shoulder injury.
