Abstract:Mobilne tehnologije, kot so pametni telefoni, pametne ure in različne aplikacije, so postale ključne za spremljanje in izboljšanje osebnega zdravja ter telesne pripravljenosti. Te naprave omogočajo sledenje telesni aktivnosti, spremljanje spanja in srčnega utripa ter beleženje prehrane. Teoretični del prinaša pregled literature o zgodovini mobilnih tehnologij in zdravju. V empiričnem delu je predstavljena anketna raziskava o uporabi mobilnih tehnologij za spremljanje zdravja in telesne dejavnosti. Rezultati so pokazali, da so pametni telefoni in aplikacije za spremljanje telesne dejavnosti ključni del življenja mnogih ljudi, zlasti milenijcev, tj. pripadniki generacije, rojene po letu 1980. Večina anketirancev poroča o dnevni uporabi teh naprav in aplikacij. Najbolj priljubljene so aplikacije za sledenje telesne dejavnosti, zdravstvenih parametrov in menstrualnega cikla. V prihodnosti lahko pričakujemo nadaljnjo rast in razvoj teh tehnologij, kar bo omogočilo boljše razumevanje njihovega vpliva na zdravje in dobro počutje uporabnikov.

Abstract:Mobile technologies, such as smartphones, smartwatches, and various applications, have become essential for monitoring and improving personal health and fitness. These devices allow you to track of physical activity, sleep, heart rate, and diet. The theoretical part provides a literature overview on the history of mobile technologies and health. The empirical part presents a survey study on the use of mobile technologies for health and physical activity monitoring. The results show that smartphones and activity tracking applications are a crucial part of many people’s lives, especially millennials, i.e., those born after 1980. The majority of respondents report daily use of these devices and applications. The most popular are applications for tracking physical activity, health parameters, and menstrual cycles. Further growth and development of these technologies can be expected in the future, allowing a better understanding of their impact on users health and well-being.
