Metoda: Do zdaj zbrana dejstva o preiskovanem področju smo opisali z deskriptivno metodo v teoretičnem delu, nato smo s pomočjo kompilacije povzeli ugotovitve različnih avtorjev ter jih proučili z metodo analize in sinteze. Z deskriptivno metodo smo opisali ključne ugotovitve avtorjev uporabljenih raziskav ter jih nato primerjali z metodo komparacije in razvrstili z metodo klasifikacije.

Abstract:The weakness of the pelvic floor muscles is often associated with chronic nonspecific lower back pain and affects core stability. This study aimed to analyze the correlation between these muscles' weakness and chronic nonspecific lower back pain and investigate the effect of training these muscles and the transversus abdominis on reducing such pain. Method: The theoretical part of the study was conducted using a descriptive method to summarise the existing knowledge in the field. We then compiled findings from various authors and examined them using analysis and synthesis methods. The key findings of the selected studies were described using a descriptive approach, compared through the process of comparison, and categorized using classification methodology. A systematic review of scientific literature and research articles was conducted, selecting seven studies based on inclusion criteria. The articles were assessed using the PEDro scale and analyzed using descriptive and comparative methods. Results: Research confirms that stabilization exercises and isolated training of the pelvic floor muscles effectively reduce pain and improve functional performance. The findings indicate that strengthening the pelvic floor muscles and the transversus abdominis, as well as their combined impact, contribute to the reduction of chronic low back pain. Weakness of these muscles increases the risk of low back pain, whereas their training enhances spinal stability. Discussion: The findings emphasize the effectiveness of combined exercise protocols targeting the pelvic floor muscles and the transversus abdominis in managing low back pain. The integration of advanced technologies, such as biofeedback and electrical stimulation, may further enhance outcomes. Research supports the importance of a progressive and individualized training approach to achieve lasting clinical benefits.
