Abstract:Uvod Sprednja križna vez je močan, intraartikularen in sinovialen ligament, ki poteka od posteromedialne površine lateralnega kondila femurja do anteriorne intrakondilarne površine tibie. Metode Uporabili smo kvalitativni raziskovalni pristop, in sicer metodo pregleda literature. Podatke smo iskali v podatkovnih bazah Google Scholar, PubMed, PEDro in v strokovnih knjigah ter tiskanih znanstvenih člankih. Vključili smo raziskave, v katerih so obravnavali rehabilitacijo po rupturi sprednje križne vezi.

Abstract:Introduction: The anterior cruciate ligament is a strong, intra-articular and synovial ligament that runs from the posteromedial surface of the lateral condyle of the femur to the anterior intracondylar surface of the tibia. Rupture most often occurs after an acute, traumatic injury during sports or activity. Purpose: To study the course of rehabilitation after anterior cruciate ligament rupture, to find out which methods and techniques are most often used, and to investigate whether there is evidence of new physiotherapy methods. Methods: We used a qualitative research approach, namely the literature review method. We searched for data in the Google Scholar, PubMed, PEDro databases and in professional books and printed scientific articles. We included studies that addressed rehabilitation after anterior cruciate ligament rupture. Results: 11 surveys were included in the research. Studies have shown that rehabilitation after an anterior cruciate ligament rupture is crucial for returning to sports activities. Physiotherapy treatment also reduces pain and swelling and restores normal range of motion. Discussion and conclusion: Research confirms the positive effects and necessity of rehabilitation for returning to sports activities or to the pre-injury level of activity.
