Title:Uporaba MRP mehanizma v proizvodnjih okoljih

Abstract:V današnjem dinamičnem industrijskem okolju je učinkovito upravljanje materialnih virov ključno za uspeh podjetij. Ta diplomska naloga se osredotoča na mehanizem za načrtovanje materialnih potreb (MRP), ki ga uporabljajo podjetja po vsem svetu za optimizacijo proizvodnih procesov in zmanjšanje stroškov. Namen raziskave je analizirati ključne vidike MRP, vključujoč njegovo zgodovino, načela delovanja, prednosti ter izzive pri implementaciji. V prvem delu naloge so predstavljeni temeljni koncepti MRP, vključno z zgodovinskim razvojem in primerjavami z drugimi sistemi, kot sta Just-In-Time (JIT) in Kanban. V empiričnem delu s testnim proizvodnim okoljem in implementacijo MRP-mehanizma preverjamo njegovo pravilno delovanje in vpliv na učinkovitost proizvodnje. Rezultati analize kažejo, da MRP pomembno prispeva k optimizaciji proizvodnih procesov, če je pravilno implementiran, kljub temu se podjetja še vedno soočajo s težavami pri natančnosti podatkov in usklajevanju sistemov. Poleg tega naloga preučuje novejše trende, kot sta umetna inteligenca in internet stvari (IoT), ki ponujata priložnosti za nadgradnjo MRP-sistemov in povečanje njihove fleksibilnosti. V zaključku so podani predlogi za izboljšave, ki bi lahko pripomogli k boljši implementaciji MRP in večji operativni odličnosti v proizvodnih procesih.

Title:The use of MRP mechanism in production environments
Abstract:In today's industrial environment, effective management of material resources is crucial for the success of companies. This thesis focuses on the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) mechanism, which is used by enterprises worldwide to optimize production processes and reduce costs. The aim of the research is to analyze key aspects of MRP, including its history, operational principles, advantages, and challenges in implementation. The first part of the thesis introduces the basic concepts of MRP, including its historical development and comparisons with other systems such as Just-In-Time (JIT) and Kanban. In the empirical part, a test production environment and an implementation of the MRP mechanism are used to verify its correct functioning and its impact on production efficiency. The results of the analysis show that MRP makes a significant contribution to the optimisation of production processes when implemented correctly, yet companies still face problems with data accuracy and system coordination. Additionally, the thesis examines newer trends such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT), which offer opportunities for upgrading MRP systems and increasing their flexibility. In conclusion, recommendations for improvements are provided, which could contribute to better implementation of MRP and greater operational excellence in production processes.
