Cilji diplomskega dela so z literaturo predstaviti Crohnovo bolezen, predstaviti življenje bolnice s Crohnovo boleznijo, izpostaviti negovalne diagnoze in predstaviti vlogo medicinske sestre pri bolniku s Crohnovo boleznijo.

Abstract:Crohn's disease is a chronic inflammatory condition affecting the gastrointestinal tract. It is classified as a CVD (chronic inflammatory bowel disease), which includes ulcerative colitis. The disease occurs mainly in younger adults and children. Diagnosis and treatment of the disease is complex and targeted. As the disease is chronic, it is extremely important to achieve remission and allow patients to live as normal a life as possible. Patients with Crohn's disease need a lot of theoretical knowledge to understand their disease and psychological support. This thesis aims to present and explore the life of a Crohn's disease patient using a structured questionnaire based on Virginia Henderson's conceptual model of 14 life activities. This thesis aims to present Crohn's disease using literature, to present the life of a Crohn's disease patient, to highlight nursing diagnoses and to present the role of the nurse in the Crohn's disease patient. To obtain the data, we used a review of the scientific and professional literature and a structured questionnaire interview with a Crohn's disease patient. The results show that Crohn's disease is a complex disease, affecting several organ systems at the same time. Patients have different care problems. Coping with the disease requires a huge amount of theoretical and practical knowledge, as well as psychological support from healthcare professionals. Nursing aims to make patients as independent as possible so that they understand their illness and can live with it.
