Abstract:Telesna aktivnost je temelj dobrega zdravja in dolgotrajnega dobrega počutja, saj krepi telo, izboljšuje telesno pripravljenost, pozitivno vpliva na duševno stanje in preprečuje številne kronične bolezni. Različne vrste vadbe, kot so aerobna vadba, vaje za moč, raztezanje ter vaje za ravnotežje in koordinacijo, prispevajo k boljšemu delovanju telesa in preprečevanju poškodb. Pomanjkanje telesne aktivnosti je vse večji problem sodobnega načina življenja, zato jo je pomembno spodbujati v vsakdanjem življenju in na delovnem mestu. Ključno vlogo pri promociji telesne aktivnosti imajo zdravstveni delavci, zlasti medicinske sestre in fizioterapevti, ki lahko s svojim strokovnim znanjem in prilagojenimi intervencijami prispevajo k izboljšanju gibalnih navad in posledično boljšemu zdravju prebivalstva.

Title:THE IMPORTANCE OD PHYSICAL ACTIVITY FOR MAINTAINING HEALTH
Abstract:Physical activity is the foundation of good health and long-term well-being, as it strengthens the body, improves physical fitness, has a positive effect on mental state and prevents many chronic diseases. Different types of exercise, such as aerobic exercise, strength exercises, stretching, balance and coordination exercises, contribute to better body function and injury prevention. Lack of physical activity is a growing problem in the modern way of life, so it is important to promote it in everyday life and at work. A key role in the promotion of physical activity is played by health professionals, especially nurses and physiotherapists, who can contribute to the improvement of movement habits and consequently better health of the population with their expertise and adapted interventions.
