Abstract:Srčno-žilna obolenja so najpogostejši vzrok smrti po svetu.

In this regard, nurses play an important role in educating and raising awareness among patients to adhere to it. Nurses are often the first healthcare professionals to meet a patient, so it is important to recognize the signs and symptoms of the disease, participate in diagnostic procedures, and administer therapy as prescribed by a doctor. To prevent complications when treating patients with cardiovascular diseases, patients are advised to join coronary clubs and undergo rehabilitation, which helps them improve their health. The purpose of the thesis is to examine the role of nurses in caring for patients with cardiovascular diseases.
