Abstract:V diplomski nalogi je predstavljen postopek razvoja modela učne enote z uporabo sodobnih 3D tehnologij. Sledi prikaz sodobnih 3D tehnologij, predvsem 3D modeliranja in 3D tiskanja.

Title:DEVELOPMENT OF A HYDROELECTRIC LEARNING UNIT MODEL USING MODERN 3D TECHNOLOGIES
Abstract:The thesis presents the process of developing a model teaching unit using modern 3D technologies. Despite the great importance of hydroelectric power plants, the pedagogical approach to this topic is often insufficient. Since hydroelectric power plants are usually addressed only theoretically, this subject could be made more accessible to students through the development of a dedicated teaching unit. The first part introduces the basic concepts of how hydroelectric power plants operate, with a special focus on turbines as a key component. This is followed by an overview of modern 3D technologies, particularly 3D modeling and 3D printing. The thesis also includes a review of pedagogical approaches to teaching about renewable energy sources. The central part of the thesis provides a detailed description of the development of the learning unit model using 3D technologies. The work concludes with the creation of a functional physical model, which can be further upgraded by replacing turbine blades or by conducting additional analyses of the impact of water flow on the turbine's energy output.
