Title:Učinek razvojno nevrološke obravnave z elementi senzorne integracije na motnjo senzorne diskriminacije pri otroku s hiperkinetično motnjo (ADHD) : diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študijskega programa prve bolonjske stopnje Fizioterapija

Abstract:Motnja pomanjkanja pozornosti s hiperaktivnostjo (ADHD) je nevrološka motnja, ki se pogosto pojavi v otroštvu in vpliva na otrokovo vsakodnevno funkcioniranje. V naši študiji primera smo se osredotočili na povezavo med motnjo ADHD in motnjo senzorne diskriminacije, ki vpliva na sposobnost zaznavanja in obdelave različnih senzornih dražljajev. Raziskovali smo učinke razvojno nevrološke obravnave z elementi senzorne integracije na motnjo senzorne diskriminacije pri otroku z ADHD, da bi preučili, kako ti terapevtski pristopi vplivajo na vsakodnevno funkcioniranje otroka. Metode: izvedli smo študijo primera, v kateri smo obravnavali otroka z motnjo senzorne diskriminacije in ADHD. Za zbiranje podatkov smo uporabili vprašalnik za oceno senzornega profila, ABC test ter izvedli intervju s otrokovo nevrofizioterapevtko. Rezultati: ugotovili smo, da sta se senzorna obdelava in motorične sposobnosti otroka po izvedeni terapiji izboljšali. Skupna ocena na vprašalniku senzornega profila se je izboljšala za 12 točk. Prav tako so se izboljšale njegove motorične sposobnosti, saj je po terapiji postal manj impulziven in bolj sposoben slediti navodilom. Uspelo nam je tudi zmanjšati iskanje proprioceptivnih dražljajev. Razprava: rezultati študije kažejo, da kombinacija razvojno nevrološke obravnave in senzorne integracije pozitivno vpliva na vsakodnevno funkcioniranje otroka. Terapija je prispevala k izboljšanju senzorne predelave, povečanju sposobnosti za opravljanje motoričnih nalog in boljši samoregulaciji. Kljub pozitivnim rezultatom pa so potrebne nadaljnje raziskave, da bi bolje razumeli prednosti kombinacije teh terapevtskih pristopov.

Abstract:Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurological disorder that often emerges in childhood and affects a child's daily functioning. In our case study, we focused on the connection between ADHD and sensory discrimination disorder, which influences the ability to perceive and process various sensory stimuli. We investigated the effects of developmental neurological treatment with elements of sensory integration on sensory discrimination disorder in a child with ADHD to examine how these therapeutic approaches affect the child's daily functioning. Methods: we conducted a case study in which we worked with a child diagnosed with sensory discrimination disorder and ADHD. To collect data, we used a sensory profile assessment questionnaire, the ABC test, and conducted an interview with the child's neurophysiotherapist. Results: we found that the child's sensory processing and motor skills improved following therapy. His total score on the sensory profile questionnaire improved by 12 points. Additionally, his motor skills improved, as he became less impulsive and more able to follow instructions. We were also able to reduce his need for proprioceptive stimuli. Discussion: the results of the study indicate that the combination of developmental neurological treatment and sensory integration positively impacts the child's daily functioning. The therapy contributed to improving sensory processing, increasing the ability to perform motor tasks, and enhancing self-regulation. Despite the positive results, further research is needed to better understand the benefits of combining these therapeutic approaches.
