Vsi pristopi in obravnave niso enako učinkoviti, vendar so vsi pomagali k izboljšanju simptomatike glavobola.

Abstract:In this thesis, the aim was to investigate the effects of physiotherapy on cervicogenic headache by reviewing the professional and scientific literature. Cervicogenic headache belongs to the secondary types of headache. Its prevalence is thought to be around 5%, affecting mostly people in middle-aged groups. It is a headache that is not easy to diagnose, as it can originate from any cervical region, most often structures in the suboccipital region. Patients have headaches, neck pain that can radiate to the upper limb, limited mobility, especially in the upper cervical spine, and poor posture. One of the conservative treatments for this type of headache is physiotherapy. Physiotherapy for cervicogenic headache is most often a combination of different physiotherapy techniques and methods. The thesis included 10 studies, which were collected from different databases and selected on the basis of inclusion and exclusion factors. These were reviewed and detail analysed. Physiotherapy and its approaches were found to have positive effects on the treatment of cervicogenic headache. Not all approaches and treatments are equally effective, but all have helped to improve symptomatology. The most effective physiotherapy approach is a combination of manual therapy and therapeutic exercises. This treatment is thought to be the most helpful in the treatment of cervicogenic headache as it eliminates pain, improves mobility and disability in the cervical region, improves posture, and improves the quality of the neck itself.
