Title:Uporaba spletnih platform za izboljšanje socialno-ekonomskega položaja

Abstract:V diplomski nalogi obravnavamo možnosti, ki jih digitalne platforme ponujajo posameznikom za izboljšanje njihovega socialno-ekonomskega položaja, s poudarkom na prodaji digitalnih izdelkov. Uvodoma predstavimo teoretična izhodišča, povezana z značilnostmi digitalnega podjetništva, vlogo spletnih platform in pravne vidike spletnega poslovanja v Sloveniji. V analitičnem delu predstavimo primerjalno analizo petnajstih spletnih platform (kot so Etsy, Gumroad, Creative Fabrica, Shopify ipd.) in opredelimo njihove ključne značilnosti z vidika uporabnosti za slovenske podjetnike. V nadaljevanju s pomočjo kvalitativne raziskovalne metode, konkretno z analizo strukturiranih intervjujev, poglobljeno proučujemo izkušnje posameznikov, ki že poslujejo na teh platformah. Na osnovi kodiranja intervjujev izpostavimo ključne kategorije, kot so motivacija za začetek spletne prodaje, izzivi pri vzpostavitvi in vzdrževanju poslovanja, pomen digitalnih kompetenc ter vpliv spletne prodaje na socialni položaj posameznikov. Ugotovitve kažejo, da so digitalne platforme lahko pomembno orodje za dosego večje finančne stabilnosti, predvsem za tiste, ki iščejo dodatni vir prihodka ali si želijo fleksibilnejših oblik dela. Pri tem so ključnega pomena dostop do znanja, podpora skupnosti in ustrezno pravno znanje. Sklepno ugotavljamo, da digitalno podjetništvo prek spletnih platform predstavlja realno možnost za krepitev socialno-ekonomskega položaja posameznikov v Sloveniji, zlasti v času gospodarskih negotovosti.

Title:Utilizing Online Platforms to Improve the Socio-Economic Status
Abstract:This thesis explores how digital platforms can serve as a tool for improving individuals’ socio-economic status, with a focus on selling digital products. The theoretical part introduces the key characteristics of digital entrepreneurship, the role of online platforms, and the legal aspects of e-commerce in Slovenia. A comparative analysis of fifteen online platforms (such as Etsy, Gumroad, Creative Fabrica, Shopify, etc.) is conducted to identify their core features and usability for Slovenian entrepreneurs. The empirical part of the thesis is based on a qualitative research approach, using structured interviews with individuals who already operate on these platforms. Through systematic coding of interview responses, key categories are identified, including motivation for starting online sales, challenges in establishing and maintaining an online business, the importance of digital skills, and the impact of online selling on an individual's social standing. The findings reveal that digital platforms can be a valuable means of achieving greater financial stability, especially for those seeking supplementary income or more flexible working arrangements. Access to knowledge, community support, and awareness of legal regulations emerge as essential factors. In conclusion, the research shows that digital entrepreneurship through online platforms offers a realistic opportunity to strengthen the socio-economic position of individuals in Slovenia, particularly during periods of economic uncertainty.
