Ustrezno literaturo smo iskali s pomočjo naslednjih podatkovnih baz: COBISS, Google Scholar, ResearchGate, PubMed. Pred pričetkom raziskave smo si za lažje iskanje ustrezne literature določili vključitvene in izključitvene dejavnike. V raziskavi smo uporabili kvalitativno metodo analize dokumentov, deskriptivno metodo ter primerjalno metodo. Rezultati: Zbrane rezultate smo predstavili v tabeli. Razprava: Pri pregledovanju in primerjanju raziskav nismo zasledili negativnih učinkov fizioterapevtskih obravnav. Pregled literature nam je omogočil poglobljeno razumevanje o ustreznosti izbire fizioterapevtske obravnave subakromialnega utesnitvenega sindroma.

Abstract:Introduction: Subacromial impingement syndrome (SAIS) is a common shoulder joint disorder characterized by a thinning of the supraspinatus tendon and reduced space between the acromion and humerus. This condition is often accompanied by pain and limited range of motion, impacting daily life. Effective physiotherapy approaches to manage these issues include HILT, interferential therapy, TENS, PNF, mobilization techniques, and therapeutic exercises (proprioceptive exercises, posterior shoulder stretching, and controlled therapeutic exercises). The aim of this thesis was to explore the optimal choice of techniques for the physiotherapeutic treatment of SAIS. Methods: The study used a qualitative research approach to evaluate the effectiveness of physiotherapy treatments for SAIS. Relevant literature was sourced from COBISS, Google Scholar, ResearchGate, and PubMed databases. Inclusion and exclusion criteria were defined to aid the search for relevant literature. The methods applied included document analysis, descriptive analysis, and a comparative method. Results: The findings were presented in a table format and included nine studies, focusing on improvements in range of motion, pain reduction, increased muscle strength, and enhanced performance of daily activities. The best results were seen in studies using HILT, a modified stretching program for the posterior shoulder area, and PNF therapy. Discussion: No adverse effects of physiotherapy treatments were noted in the studies reviewed. The literature review provided a deeper understanding of the suitability of physiotherapy approaches for SAIS.
