Rezultati: V diplomsko nalogo smo vključili 7 raziskav.

Abstract:Theoretical background: More and more people are facing low back pain and the reasons for it are different from person to person. There are many methods on how to treat these problems and one of them is lumbal traction therapy, which we want to explore in more detail. Methods: In this thesis, we used a qualitative research approach. We used PubMed, PEDro, COBBIS in Google Scholar databases to find relevant articels. To help with search, we used keywords: lumbar spine, traction and low back pain. Results: We included 7 researches in the thesis. The inclusion criteria manily included articles that were thematically relevant, published in Slovenian and English and articles that provide access to the entire text. Discussion: Through a review of the literature, we found that traction therapy is most effective in prone position with a force 1/2 of bodyweight and with vibration included. We also found that the mechanism of traction therapy isn't very clear and therfore additional research is needed in this area.
