Title:Numerična optimizacija hladilnih kanalov pri brizganju plastike

Abstract:Diplomska naloga temelji na numerični simulaciji izdelanih modelov. Modeli hladilnih sistemov, rezultati katerih so v zadnjem poglavju, slonijo na teoriji zapisani skozi diplomsko nalogo. Na začetku pregledamo komponente stroja za brizganje plastike, ki nam omogoča nadaljnjo razumevanje postopka brizganja plastike. Ker smo modele hladilnih sistemov izdelali sami, je zelo pomembno preučiti teorijo o konstrukciji, kjer smo opisali različne lastnosti geometrij hladilnih kanalov ter njihove poti. Nato pa se posvetimo še razumevanju numeričnega dela simulacije, kako deluje program, kako rešuje dano problematiko. Izdelali smo tudi zapis ter računanje dobljenih robnih pogojev, ki jih bomo uporabljali za vse simulacije, za lažje primerjanje. Nato so opisani modeli hladilnih kanalov, ki smo jih uporabili. Ob koncu diplomske naloge so prikazani rezultati simulacij, ki nam pokažejo prednosti in slabosti različnih modelov hladilnih kanalov.

Title:Numerical optimization of cooling channels in plastic injection molding
Abstract:The diploma thesis is based on numerical simulation of the created models. The cooling system models, the results of which are in the last chapter, are based on the theory written throughout the diploma thesis. At the beginning, we examine the components of the plastic injection molding machine, which allows us to further understand the plastic injection molding process. Since we created the cooling system models ourselves, it is very important to study the theory of construction, where we described the various properties of the cooling channel geometries and their paths. Then we focus on understanding the numerical part of the simulation, how the program works, how it solves the given problem. We also created a record and calculation of the obtained boundary conditions, which we will use for all simulations, for easier comparison. Then the cooling channel models that we used are described. And finally the simulation results, which show us the advantages and disadvantages of different cooling channel models.
