Title:Fizioterapevtska diagnostika in sledenje učinkom fizioterapevtske obravnave na mentalno počutje pacientov

Abstract:Diplomska naloga obravnava vpliv kinezioterapije na duševno zdravje, s poudarkom na zmanjševanju simptomov depresije, anksioznosti in stresa ter izboljšanju splošnega psihološkega počutja. Namen dela je bil s pomočjo pregleda literature raziskati, kako lahko različne oblike terapevtske vadbe prispevajo k izboljšanju psihičnega počutja posameznikov, in jih podpreti z znanstvenimi dokazi. V nalogi so bile analizirane raziskave, ki so obravnavale vpliv aerobne vadbe, vadbe za moč, razteznih vaj in sprostitvenih tehnik, uporabljenih znotraj kinezioterapevtskih pristopov. Metodološko je bil uporabljen pregled literature s sistematičnim iskanjem v podatkovnih bazah PubMed in ScienceDirect, pri čemer je bilo na podlagi vnaprej določenih vključitvenih in izključitvenih meril v končno analizo zajetih 13 raziskav. V raziskavah je bilo skupno vključenih več tisoč udeležencev različnih starosti in zdravstvenih stanj. Večina analiziranih raziskav je vključevala dolgotrajne vadbene programe, ki so trajali od 8 do 24 tednov, s pogostostjo izvajanja od dva- do trikrat tedensko. Pri pregledu literature smo se osredotočili na različne ciljne skupine, med katerimi so bili posamezniki z depresivnimi in anksioznimi motnjami, kroničnimi telesnimi obolenji ter posebne populacije, kot so starejši in nevrološki bolniki. Rezultati so pokazali, da kinezioterapija pomembno prispeva k zmanjšanju simptomov depresije in anksioznosti, izboljšanju spanja, znižanju ravni stresa ter krepitvi splošnega duševnega zdravja. Ugotovitve potrjujejo, da je kinezioterapija lahko učinkovita samostojna ali dopolnilna metoda v obravnavi duševnih stanj in da je učinkovitost večja, kadar so vadbeni programi prilagojeni zdravstvenemu stanju, sposobnostim in potrebam bolnika. Uporabnost ugotovitev je pomembna za prakso fizioterapevtov, saj ponuja strokovna priporočila za vključevanje vadbenih programov pri izboljšanju psihofizičnega počutja bolnikov. Omejitve predstavljajo predvsem individualne razlike, dostopnost strokovnega kadra in tveganje pri pretirani vadbi. Kljub temu se je izkazalo, da je kinezioterapija pomemben nefarmakološki pristop, ki celostno prispeva k boljšemu zdravju in kakovosti življenja.

Title:Physiotherapy diagnostics and tracking the effects of physiotherapy treatment on mental well-being of patients
Abstract:The thesis examines the impact of kinesiotherapy on mental health, with an emphasis on reducing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress, and improving overall psychological well-being. The aim of the thesis was to use a literature review to explore how different forms of therapeutic exercise contribute to improving individuals’ mental well-being and support them with scientific evidence. The thesis analyses studies that examined the effects of aerobic exercise, resistance training, stretching and relaxation techniques used within kinesiotherapy approaches. Methodologically, a literature review with a systematic search in the PubMed and ScienceDirect databases was used. Based on defined inclusion criteria, 13 studies were included in the final analysis. In total, thousands of participants of different ages and health conditions were included in the analysed studies. Most of the studies involved long-term exercise programmes lasting from 8 to 24 weeks, with exercise performed 2 to 3 times per week. The literature review focused on different target groups, including individuals with depressive and anxiety disorders, chronic physical conditions and special populations such as older adults and neurological patients. The results showed that kinesiotherapy significantly contributes to reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety, improving sleep, lowering stress levels, and supporting overall mental well-being. The findings confirm that kinesiotherapy can be effective as a standalone or complementary method in the treatment of mental health conditions, and that its effectiveness is greater when exercise programmes are adapted to the health status, abilities and needs of the patient. The practical value for physiotherapists lies in offering professional recommendations for including exercise programmes to improve patients’ psychophysical well-being. Limitations include mainly individual differences, availability of professional staff and the risk of excessive exercise. Nevertheless, it has been shown that kinesiotherapy is an important non-pharmacological approach that holistically contributes to better health and quality of life.
