Title:Indeks disfunkcij medeničnega dna pri akrobatkah v primerjavi z nešportnicami : diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študijskega programa prve bolonjske stopnje Fizioterapija

Abstract:Disfunkcije medeničnega dna predstavljajo pomemben zdravstveni problem, ki negativno vpliva na kakovost življenja žensk. Predvsem pogosto se pojavljajo pri ženskah, ki se ukvarjajo z visoko intenzivnimi športi. V diplomskem delu smo obravnavali disfunkcije medeničnega dna pri akrobatkah v primerjavi z nešportnicami. Metodologija: Podatke smo zbrali s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika. V našo raziskavo je bilo vključenih 51 žensk, starih od 18 do 25 let. Testna skupina je zajemala 24 akrobatk, ki trenirajo akrobatiko vsaj 5 let, vsaj 3 ure na teden. Kontrolna skupina pa je zajemala 27 oseb ženskega spola, ki se ne ukvarjajo z nobenim športom. Rezultati: Ugotovili smo, da akrobatke kažejo višjo prevalenco disfunkcij medeničnega dna v primerjavi z nešportnicami, čeprav razlika ni bila statistično značilna. Pomembna ugotovitev je tudi nizka stopnja izvajanja vaj za krepitev mišic medeničnega dna, saj kar 74,5 % preiskovank ne izvaja vaj. Razprava: Ugotovili smo, da je priporočljivo vključevanje obveznih modulov o mišicah medeničnega dna ter vaj za krepitev teh mišic v športne izobraževalne programe. Ugotovili smo tudi, da bi bile potrebne nadaljnje raziskave z večjim vzorcem in objektivnimi meritvami, ki bi lahko dodatno prikazale povezavo med akrobatiko in disfunkcijami medeničnega dna ter prispevale k razvoju učinkovitih preventivnih strategij.

Abstract:Pelvic floor dysfunctions represent a significant health issue that negatively impacts women's quality of life. They are particularly common among women engaged in high-intensity sports. In this thesis, we examined pelvic floor dysfunctions in female acrobats compared to non-athletes. Methodology: data was collected using a questionnaire survey. Our study included 51 women aged between 18 and 25 years. The test group consisted of 24 acrobats who had been training acrobatics for at least 5 years, with a minimum of 3 hours per week. The control group consisted of 27 females who did not engage in any sports. Results: we found that acrobats exhibited a higher prevalence of pelvic floor dysfunctions compared to non-athletes, although the difference was not statistically significant. Another important finding was the low rate of pelvic floor muscle exercises, as 74.5 % of the participants did not perform such exercises. Discussion: we concluded that it would be advisable to include mandatory modules on pelvic floor muscles and strenghtening exercises in sport educational programs. We also determined that further research with larger sample size and objective measurements would be necessary to better demonstrate the link between acrobatics and pelvic floor dysfunctions, as well as to contribute to the development of effective preventive strategies.
