Abstract:V diplomskem delu smo obravnavali postopek uvajanja nove programske opreme v poslovne procese trgovskega podjetja XY, ki deluje na področju distribucije in prodaje učnih gradiv ter šolskih potrebščin. Raziskava izhaja iz konkretnih izkušenj podjetja XY, kjer se je pokazalo, da sodobna informacijska tehnologija in digitalna transformacija pomembno vplivata na konkurenčnost in učinkovitost poslovanja, zlasti v procesno in podatkovno intenzivnih dejavnostih, kot je trgovina. Podjetje XY se je zaradi tehnološke zastarelosti obstoječega informacijskega sistema, omejenih možnosti nadgradenj ter velikega obsega ročnega dela odločilo za uvedbo nove programske rešitve, sistema e-Računi. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili temeljne pojme digitalne transformacije, vlogo informacijske tehnologije v poslovnih procesih ter ključne izzive in dobre prakse pri uvajanju programske opreme. Empirični del temelji na analizi obstoječih in novih poslovnih procesov v podjetju XY ter na primerjavi delovanja obstoječega programskega sistema Monima in nove rešitve e-Računi. Poseben poudarek je namenjen vplivu nove programske opreme na učinkovitost procesov, avtomatizacijo skladiščnih in računovodskih postopkov, varnost podatkov ter vključenost zaposlenih v proces implementacije. Rezultati raziskave kažejo, da uvedba nove programske opreme prispeva k večji preglednosti, zmanjšanju napak, krajšemu času obdelave naročil in višji stopnji zadovoljstva uporabnikov. Primer podjetja XY potrjuje, da uspešna digitalna transformacija ni zgolj tehnični projekt, temveč zahteva usklajeno delovanje tehničnih rešitev, organizacijskih prilagoditev in aktivno vključenost zaposlenih.

Abstract:In this thesis, we examined the process of introducing new software into the business processes of XY, a trading company operating in the field of distribution and sale of teaching materials and school supplies. The research is based on the specific experiences of company XY, where it has been shown that modern information technology and digital transformation have a significant impact on competitiveness and business efficienxy, especially in process and data-intensive activities such as trade. Due to the technological obsolescence of its existing information system, limited upgrade options, and the large amount of manual work involved, XY decided to introduce a new software solution, the e-Računi system. In the theoretical part, we presented the basic concepts of digital transformation, the role of information technology in business processes, and the key challenges and best practices in software implementation. The empirical part is based on an analysis of existing and new business processes at company XY and a comparison of the performance of the existing Monima software system and the new e-Računi solution. Particular emphasis is placed on the impact of the new software on process efficiency, the automation of warehouse and accounting procedures, data security, and employee involvement in the implementation process. The results of the study show that the introduction of new software contributes to greater transparency, fewer errors, shorter order processing times, and higher user satisfaction. The example of company XY confirms that successful digital transformation is not just a technical project, but requires the coordinated operation of technical solutions, organizational adaptation, and the active involvement of employees.
