Abstract:Glavni razlog za srčna obolenja je v neustreznem življenjskem slogu, ki zajema prehrano, stres, kajenje, alkohol. Današnji prehiter tempo življenja vodi do nastanka številnih kroničnih obolenj, zato je zavedanje o ustreznosti prehranskih priporočil, redne telesne aktivnosti še toliko bolj pomembno. Pri pacientih, diagnosticiranih s hiperholesterolemijo, je ključna sprememba življenjskega sloga v luči izboljšanja LDL vrednosti ter tako uspešnosti premagovanja bolezni. Ustrezno predstavljeni dejavniki tveganja, izobraževanja, svetovanja, vpeljani podporni sistem ter motivacija so ključ do sprememb pri posameznikih. Navsezadnje spremljava učinkovitosti, skozi redne kontrole holesterola v krvi, ter ustrezna motivacija sta izrednega pomena do dolgoročnih sprememb ter vzdrževanja ustreznega stanja.

Title:Diet of a Patient with Hyperholesterolemia
Abstract:The main reason for heart disease is an inappropriate lifestyle, which includes nutrition, stress, smoking, alcohol. Today's fast pace of life leads to the development of numerous chronic diseases, which is why awareness of the adequacy of nutritional recommendations and regular physical activity is all the more important. In patients diagnosed with hypercholesterolemia, lifestyle change is key in terms of improving LDL levels and thus the success of overcoming the disease. Appropriately presented risk factors, education, counseling, an implemented support system and motivation are the keys to changes in individuals. Ultimately, monitoring effectiveness, through regular blood cholesterol checks and appropriate motivation, are of utmost importance for long-term changes and maintaining an appropriate condition.
