Abstract:Pljučni edem je akutno, potencialno življenjsko ogrožajoče stanje, za katerega je značilno kopičenje tekočine v pljučnem intersticiju in alveolah, kar povzroča moteno izmenjavo plinov in respiratorno stisko.
Keywords:pljučni edem, diplomirana medicinska sestra, zdravstvena nega, neinvazivna ventilacija, zgodnje prepoznavanje.

Title:THE ROLE OF A RESISTERED NURSE IN PATIENTS WITH PULMONARY EDEMA
Abstract:Pulmonary edema is an acute, potentially life-threatening condition characterized by the accumulation of fluid in the pulmonary interstitium and alveoli, resulting in impaired gas exchange and respiratory distress. Due to the rapid progression of the condition, early recognition of signs and symptoms and timely intervention are essential for successful treatment. Registered nurses play a crucial role in monitoring vital signs and respiratory status, implementing non-invasive ventilation, recognizing clinical deterioration, and providing health education to patients and their family members. The aim of this thesis is to examine the role of the registered nurse in the care of patients with pulmonary edema.
Keywords:pulmonary edema, registered nurse, nursing care, non-invasive ventilation, early recognition.
