Abstract:The European Union is a political-economic union composed of 28 European countries. Entry into the European Union is the goal of almost every european country, as many goods are facilitated, such as the single internal market provided by the legal system applicable to all the Member States of the European Union. The objectives of the European Union are, in particular, directed at ensuring the free movement of people, goods, services and capital within the internal market, the enforcement of the laws of justice and home affairs, the joint conclusion of trade agreements, the common agricultural policy and regional development. Initially, only entry into the European Union was foreseen, with a view to permanently connecting the Member States. However, later, the aspirations of some of the countries that felt in the European Union became too "caught". Thus, the ratification of the Treaty of Lisbon has also regulated the possibility of exiting the European Union. As the first, the opportunity was exploited by Great Britain, which, after a historic referendum, in wich voters decided to leave the European Union, initiated an exit procedure. The reason for this decision has been accumulating for the British for a long time, and the drought over the edge was the migrant crisis that erupted after the war in Syria. It is also interesting that the British did not negate only the migrants from Syria and other Muslim countries, but were also disturbed by European Union citizens who, despite good conditions, work massively in the UK. The fact that the UK has decided to go on its journey, without the European Union, will also be very worried. Thus, the European Union, which will, as a result, receive less money than, above all, Great Britain, whose economy will exit the most.
