Predvsem nas je zanimal vpliv na razvoj regionalno razporejenega omrežja. Širokopasovni dostop do interneta je eden od kazalcev razvitosti trga elektronskih komunikacij. Ključno vlogo pri njegovi širitvi na podeželje igra državna politika, ki postavlja okvir regulacije trga in razpoložljivost sredstev državne pomoči. Zagotavlja enake možnosti za vse državljane, prispeva k boljši konkurenčnosti gospodarstva in kakovosti življenja ljudi na podeželju. Abstract:	In this theses, we studied the policy of introducing the broadband connections in the Slovenian countryside and certain other European states. Above all, we focused on the effects on the regionally arranged network development. Broadband internet connection is one of the development indicators for the electronic communication market. Concerning its spread in the countryside, the state government policy has the key role. That government determines the market regulation frame, provides for the availability of the state aid resources, ensures equal opportunities for all the citizens and contributes to the improvement of the competitive position of the economy and to the improvement of the life quality in the countryside.
