Z razmahom interneta in brezžičnih omrežij se je povečala nevarnost »okužbe« z zlonamernimi programi. Opredeljeni so preventivni ukrepi za zaščito pred varnostnimi grožnjami, podani so tudi postopki za nepooblaščeni dostop do uporabniških računov ter demonstracija vdora v varovano brezţično omrežje, šifrirano s standardom WEP. Abstract:	The diploma dissertation introduces the security mechanisms and security threats of the most popular operating system Microsoft Windows. With fast development of internet and wireless networks, the chance for ―infection‖ with malicious code increases rapidly. It also describes individual security threats and precautionary measures for the protection against them. In addition it presents the procedures for unauthorized gaining of control over user accounts and demonstration how access to protected wireless network encrypted with WEP key.
