Title:Analiza ustreznosti obstoječih IOT platform, za uporabo s poljubnimi krmilniki : diplomska naloga

Abstract:Ideja diplomske naloge sestoji s treh raziskovalnih vprašanj. V prvi vrsti nas zanima, ali so obstoječe rešitve s področja Interneta stvari dovolj odprte, da nam omogočajo uporabo poljubne strojne opreme. Drugič nas zanima, ali so obstoječe rešitve s področja Interneta stvari dovolj zrele in preproste, da si z njihovo uporabo lahko izboljšamo način življenja. Nazadnje pa nas še zanima, ali lahko podjetje, ki se ukvarja z razvojem digitalnih naprav, uporabi neko obstoječo rešitev s področja Interneta stvari, namesto da vlaga v razvoj svoje lastne rešitve. Diplomska naloga je sestavljena iz dveh delov. V teoretičnem delu je opisan pojem Interneta stvari, vidik interneta ter vidik stvari, opisane so tehnologije, ki Internet stvari omogočajo, ter nekatera področja uporabe. V empiričnem delu diplomske naloge pa sem predstavil štiri rešitve s področja Interneta stvari, jih analiziral ter primerjal med seboj.

Abstract:The idea of the diploma thesis revolves around three research topics. Firstly, the thesis examines if the existing Internet of Things (IOT) solutions are open enough to enable random hardware. Secondly, the thesis discusses if the existing IOT solutions are sufficiently mature and simple so that their use improves our way of life. Last but not least, the thesis deals with the following issue: can a company involved in the development of digital devices employ an IOT solution instead of investing in the development of its own solution. The diploma thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part describes the concept of IOT, the aspect of the Internet and the aspect of things. In addition, technologies enabling IOT and some scopes of its application are described. The empirical part of the thesis introduces four IOT solutions, analyses them and compares them with each other.
