Mednarodnopravni dokumenti, ki urejajo področje trgovine z ljudmi, sodne odločbe in nacionalna zakonodaja poskušajo urediti in preprečiti izkoriščanje, vendar z vpletenostjo koruptivnih in drugih nelegalnih praks to nikakor ni enostavno.

Abstract:Trafficking in human beings is a modern form of slavery, which law enforcement authorities around the world have been facing for decades. Victims, wishing to improve their social status, are deceived by traffickers and then find themselves trapped in a cycle of psychological, physical abuse and economic violence. International law on trafficking in human beings, case law and national legislations are struggling to regulate rules to prevent exploitation, but with existence of corruption and other illegal practices it cannot be a simple task. Cooperation between EU Member States in the prosecution, investigation and prevention of crimes related to this phenomenon, is the key to success. On the other hand, members of criminal organisations are trying to connect and cooperate in the most innovative ways possible, all with view of constantly operating one extra mile ahead of the authorities. This leads to a question of potential existance of cetrain internal rules among members of criminal networks gangs and consequent sanctions that might result in from their infraction or any other disobedience...
