Abstract:V magistrskem delu je predstavljeno zaposlovanje v šolstvu v povezavi z nepotizmom.

Abstract:This master's thesis describes the role of nepotism in recruitment in the education sector. We presented statements that need to be verified and thought about; what is more, we should reflect on how to avoid nepotism in recruitment in the future. The aim of this master's thesis is to present nepotism from different viewpoints that have been shaped in the past. Nepotism has always been present in the society and it can be practised anytime, which is why it is important that everybody's rights are protected equally. We present the recruitment method and process in the education sector as they are prescribed in the legislation. Furthermore, the aim of the thesis is to warn about the shortcomings of sectoral regulations in the education sector as well; we sought to examine the terminology and history, review the legislation, analyse the legislative regulation, study the rights and the protection of an individual, and draft our own suggestions. Different work methods were used as it was necessary to review the historical and sociological background of the phenomenon. Furthermore, using the descriptive method, we described and determined the situation of jobseekers. We also used the comparative and inductive method to verify the conformity of the legislation and to process the terminology. With the use of the interview method, we proved that there are cases of nepotism in recruitment in the education sector. In the end, we used the synthesis method which is intended to explain and draft the suggestions. By conducting interviews, we showed that nepotism is in fact present in the education sector; it is said to be a consequence of recruiting relatives, whereas every employee should be equal in all respects. In the conclusion, we tried to summarize the point of the thesis and to answer the questions that were raised throughout the thesis. By interpreting the statements, we can state that recruitment in the education sector must be carried out in a different way or be additionally regulated by the state.
