Title:Družbena omrežja kot vir informacij v športu : diplomska naloga

Abstract:V diplomski nalogi sem obravnaval temo, ki se nanaša na družbena omrežja kot vir informacij v športu. Živimo v času hitrega razvoja komunikacijskih tehnologij, ki nam služijo za ohranjanje odnosov in vzpostavljanje novih vezi. Ena teh so tudi v zadnjih letih zelo razširjena spletna družbena omrežja. Z razvojem interneta je po vsem svetu postala priljubljena uporaba družbenih omrežij. Televizija, radio in tisk, ki veljajo za klasične medijske kanale so nadomestili novi mediji, med katere štejemo Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, ter mnoga druga omrežja. Z diplomsko nalogo sem želel preučiti, katera družbena omrežja so v Sloveniji najbolj priljubljena in kdo so njihovi uporabniki, če so stari mediji, kot so televizija, tisk in radio šli v pozabo, od kar ljudje vse več uporabljajo družbena omrežja. Za boljše poznavanje le teh, sem se poglobil v razvoj spleta, ki je omogočil nastanek družbenih omrežij. Zanimalo me je kakšen pomen imajo družbena omrežja in kakšne so njihove značilnosti. Zanimalo me je tudi, kakšen vpliv imajo družbena omrežja na ljudi in kako jih sprejemajo kot vir informacij. Predstavil sem najbolj priljubljena družbena omrežja v Sloveniji. Izvedel sem anketo o uporabi družbenih omrežij.

Abstract:The diploma thesis researches social media as the source of sport information. Information and communications technology used for maintaining and establishing contacts develop quickly nowadays; an example of information and communication technology is social media, which gained its popularity with the evolution of internet in recent years. New media, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc., replaced the traditional media, such as television, radio, and print. The goal of the diploma thesis is to discover which social media are the most popular in Slovenia, who are their users, and whether the traditional media, such as television, radio, and print, are sinking into oblivion because of the increasing use of social media. To better understand them, the thesis researches the development of the World Wide Web, which enabled the evolution of social media. The importance and characteristics of social media are researched in the paper. The influence social media has on people and how it is accepted as the source of information is researched as well. The most popular social media in Slovenia are presented. A survey on the use of social media was conducted.
