Abstract:This diploma thesis presents a mobile application called ePolicist (ePoliceman). Its purpose is two-fold: it offers a mobile solution for the support of a police officer in the field therewith introduces digitalization of the work process. It has been a few years since the implementation of the application into field use, therefore it makes sense to analyse the up-to-date satisfaction of the end users, i.e police officers, and whether the process really is timesaving as it had been presented before the implementation of the mobile solution. Although the application is still being developed it already offers enough function to be used in the field. The diploma thesis also includes an interview with the head of the project, who enlightens some facts about the development of the application and the challenges he and his team had to face during the process.
