Abstract:Uvod in namen: Jadranje je šport, ki zahteva dobro telesno pripravljenost, zato priredili program dodatne gibalne intervencije. Omejitve: Nizek numerus raziskave, za to populacijo nizka občutljivost testov in slaba kontrola aktivnosti izven gibalne intervencije.

Title:Impact of additional physical intervention exercises in selected functional tests of young sailors
Abstract:Introduction and purpose: Sailing is a sport which requires good physical fitness, which is why we have adapted the programme of additional physical activity interventions. The goal of the thesis was to evaluate the modification. Methods: Sixteen children were included in the research and divided into two groups. The intervention group was assigned an additional physical activity intervention over the course of 12 months. The intervention featured muscle-strenghtening, balance and coordination exercises. The control group did not take part in any additional training. The research featured three measurements - one before the intervention, one during and one after 12 months. The following measurements were carried out: the ability to stand still on a pad with built-in pressure sensors, hand grip strength, body weight, body height, unilateral stance with eyes open, with eyes closed as well as stance on an unstable training pad. Results: The performance of the groups was equal at the beginning of the measurement (p > 0.05). A significant interaction effect occured with the parameter of the hand grip on the dominant hand (p = 0.047) and with the testing of unilateral stance with eyes closed (p = 0.015). In the first group, only an improvement trend was established (p = 0.067). With all other measurements, no differences were established (p > 0.05). Usefulness: The additional physical activity intervention resulted in the improvement of the fist grip as well as one of the balance parameters. Limitations: Low sample size, low test sensitivity for this population as well as poor control over the activities outside of the physical activity intervention.
