Abstract:Šport in pravo samostojno eksistirata kot dva različna družbena pojava, a vendar med njima obstaja določeno razmerje.

Abstract:Sport and law, exist independently as two different social phenomenas, but there is a certain relationship between them. A look at this relationship has undergone tremendous development in the last decades, and more and more legal experts are dealing with a question, whether sports law in legal sense of the word even exist. Development of the sports industry and growing of the political and economic vogue of sport within society in recent times, means also a change of development and expansion of the legal branch of sports law in Slovenia. We used decscriptive, analyctical, synthecic and comparative methods while writing this thesis. This research is based on the field of ski law, its development, the regulations governing this area, since the development of alpine skiing as a more popular sport in Slovenia has a parallel impact on the development of sports law in Slovenia. The purpose of this thesis is to explore the field of sports law in Slovenia and decribe it and present it on the example of alpine skiing. Sports law in Slovenia is still evolving and undoubtedly exist, and is also influenced by alpine skiing, which remains at the top of the populartiy among sports in Slovenia. In the future, new sports will emerge and will bring new legal challenges and needs.
