Abstract:Fizioterapevti vsakodnevno pristopamo do različno starih strank. Raziskali smo, v čem se skozi razvojna obdobja razlikujejo motivacija, komunikacija, pozornost, koncentracija in kapaciteta delovnega spomina.

Title:CHARACTERISTICS OF PHYSIOTHERAPEUTICAL WORKING WITH PATIENTS OF DIFFERENT AGE GROUPS
Abstract:Physiotherapists see clients of different age groups daily. Research was done on where the differences materialise in terms of motivation, communication, attention, concentration, and the capacity of working memory. The goal of the thesis is to examine how the physiotherapists’ approach varies in relation to the clients’ age. For the empirical part of the thesis, a survey questionnaire was devised, comprised of 12 questions. 51 of those questionnaires were suitable for analysis. They were processed in the Excell programme and the graphs interpreted, while the discussion section drew parallels between the results and theoretical assumptions. Physiotherapists encounter issues when dealing with all age groups. The most difficulties present when working with clients over 65, as well as children who are under 12. Respondents cited lack of motivation and attention as the two most common obstacles.
Keywords:Approach, periods of development, communication, attention, motivation.
