Abstract:Uvod in namen: Fascijo opisujemo kot trodimenzionalno mrežasto tkivo, sestavljena iz kolagena in elastina. Metode: Literaturo smo iskali po podatkovnih zbirkah Cobiss, PubMed in Google Scholar. Uporabljali smo raziskovalne zaključke, objavljene po letu 2010. Ob tem smo upoštevali vključitvene in izključitvene dejavnike. Omejitve: Izključitveni in vključitveni dejavniki, primeren vzorec in možnosti ponovitve študije.

Title:The biomechanics of fascia and its roll in pain detection
Abstract:Introduction and purpose: Fascia is made up of sheets of connective tissue that are composed of collagen and elastin. Fascia attach, stabilize, impart strength and separate muscles. There are different physiotherapeutic approaches in the treatment of fascia. The purpose of the thesis is, based on a review of the literature, to present the biomechanics of fascia and the role of fascia in the perception of pain in the musculoskeletal system. Methods: Literature was searched by Cobiss, PubMed and GoogleScholar databases. We used research published after 2010. At the same time, we considered inclusion and exclusion factors. Results: Fascia act as force transmitters and are essential for all movements. Various pathological changes of the fascia are the cause of pain and affect the flexibility of the fascia and change its function in the body. Various fascial techniques, as adjunctive therapy, have a positive effect on the course of therapies. Usability: Presentation of the biomechanical knowledge of fascia and the latest approaches on the basis of professional and scientific literature for physiotherapy treatment pathological changes in and due to fascia. Limitations: Inclusion and exclusion factors, suitabe sample and the possibility of repeating the study.
