Title:(Ne)enak položaj žensk v slovenski policiji

Abstract:Z magistrsko nalogo smo poskušali opozoriti na prisotno diskriminacijo oziroma neenako obravnavanje in neenak položaj med spoloma v družbi. Namen pa je bil tudi osvestiti in ne pozabiti na položaj žensk v naši družbi, ki je bil še nedolgo nazaj diskriminiran in zaničevan v primerjavi z moškim spolom. Na položaj, ki je že skoraj stereotipno pripadal novorojeni dojenčici, in na položaj, ki se je predvsem po zaslugi nenehnega boja žensk za uveljavitev svojih pravic in težnje po spolni enakosti, uveljavil v zadnjih desetletjih oziroma se še oblikuje in približuje absolutnemu spolnemu enačaju. V magistrski nalogi smo se skoncentrirali na spolno (ne)enakost v slovenski policiji in poskušali ugotoviti značilnosti položaja pooblaščenih uradnih oseb ženskega spola, zaposlenih v slovenski policiji. Ugotoviti smo hoteli, ali je v slovenski policiji prisotna neenakost med spoloma, in ali je, glede na številčno dominantnost, moški spol dominanten tudi pri vprašanju spolne privilegiranosti. Tako smo predvsem z uporabo kadrovskih evidenc slovenske policije in kvantitativnim delom raziskave poskušali posneti stanje v slovenski policiji na obravnavanem področju ter zajeti in identificirati tudi nekatere podatke ter ugotovitve širšega spektra, ki nakazujejo oziroma prikazujejo slovensko policistko in njen položaj v policijski organizaciji. Naloga je sestavljena iz osmih poglavij. Po uvodu v prvem poglavju sledi drugo poglavje v katerem govorimo o enakopravnosti, diskriminaciji in enakosti. V tretjem poglavju omenjamo pravno ureditev enakosti spolov, v četrtem pa opisujemo zgodovinski položaj žensk po svetu. O zaposlovanju žensk v policijskih vrstah ter njihovih policijskih združenj govorimo v petem poglavju. V šestem poglavju predstavimo organizacijo slovenske policije, metodologijo naše naloge ter pridobljene rezultate, na podlagi katerih smo lahko opredelili dejavnike, ki kažejo na neenakost med spoloma v slovenski policiji. Prav tako predstavimo položaj žensk v angleški policiji. S sklepom, v katerem smo prišli do zaključka, da položaj žensk v slovenski policiji ne moremo označiti za slabšega od položaja povprečne ženske v slovenski družbi, zaključimo sedmo poglavje. V osmem poglavju navajamo uporabljeno literaturo in vire.

Title:Neenak položaj žensk v slovenski policiji
Abstract:With a master's thesis we tried to point in the society present discrimination or unequal treatment and the unequal status between men and women. The purpose was also to alert and to not forget the situation of women in our society, which not long ago was still very discriminated against and despised in comparison with male gender. A situation that is almost a stereotype belonged to the newborn girl baby, and the situation that was mostly thanks to continuous struggle of women to exercise their rights and striving for gender equality, established in the last decades and is still developing and is approaching absolute gender equality. In the master’s thesis we concentrated on the gender (in)equality in the Slovenian police and tried to determine the position of the authorized officials of female employees in the Slovenian police. We wanted to determine whether the Slovenian police is present inequality between genders, and whether, given the numerical dominance, male gender dominant on the issue of gender inequality. So we mainly used the personnel records of the Slovenian police and quantitative work research trying to capture state of Slovenian police in this area and to covered and identify some of the data and the findings of a wider spectrum that indicate or display Slovenian policewomen. The task consists of eight chapters. Following an introduction followed by another chapter in which we talk about equality, discrimination and gender equality. In the third chapter we mention the legal regulation of gender equality, and the fourth describes the historical situation of women worldwide. The employment of women in police ranks and their police associations is discussed in the fifth chapter. In the sixth chapter we present the organization of the Slovenian police, our research methodology and results obtained on the basis of which we can identify factors that indicate the gender inequality in the Slovenian police. We also present the status of women in the English police. With conclusion, which we come to the end that the situation of women in the Slovenian police can not be classified as inferior to the average women in the Slovenian society, we finish seventh chapter. In the eighth chapter are listed used literature and resources.
