V današnjem političnem in gospodarskem svetu obstaja veliko težav, za katere bankirji, še manj pa politiki, nimajo rešitve: rastoči dolgovi, nedelujoči socialni sistemi, dušeče obresti, borzni zlomi, bankroti podjetij. Rešitev za takšne težave so bile v zgodovini velikokrat vojne. Diplomska naloga je razdeljena na osem poglavij, ki so med seboj povezana. V uvodu sem opredelil problem in raziskovalna vprašanja, pojasnil namen in cilj diplomske naloge ter opisal, kakšne metode bodo uporabljene, pri čemer sem zastavil sedem hipotez, ki sem jih preverjal v analitičnem delu. V drugem poglavju sem opisal zgodovino zlata, kje najdemo zlato, zlato skozi čas, uporabo zlata, razloge za nakup. Na začetku tretjega poglavja sem opisal enega od vzvodov pridobivanja oblasti in bogastva. V tretjem poglavju sem se osredotočil na opredelitev denarja brez kritja, zlati standard ter obresti. Opisal sem delovanje ameriške centralne banke, ki pomembno vpliva na delovanje svetovnega finančnega trga. Podrobno je opisano tudi delovanje banke Goldman Sachs ter njeno delovanje v Evropski uniji in Sloveniji. V četrtem poglavju sem predstavil, kaj je investicijsko zlato, pomen LBMA-ja, kronološki pregled investicijskega zlata v slovenskem prostoru in uveljavljene ponudnike investicijskega zlata v Sloveniji. Opisal sem produkte podjetja Karatbars International GmbH, rešitev težav in problemov z novim produktom, tako imenovanim CASHGOLD-om. Opisal sem problematiko bančnega sistema v Evropski uniji in Sloveniji, poenotena evropska pravila za reševanje bank, jamstva za vloge v bankah ter varnost naložb. Zelo zanimiva je primerjava državne pokojnine z investicijo v naložbeno zlato. V petem in šestem poglavju sem se posvetil raziskavi in preverjanju hipotez. V sedmem in osmem poglavju sem podal predloge ukrepov, sklepne misli in zaključek. Abstract:

With this thesis, I intend to draw attention to the following issues: the need for a broad holistic view on building assets, manipulations on the global financial market and the dangers looming over us, because large amounts of money, which is not backed by anything, is being printed. In today's political and economic world there are many problems for which bankers or politicians have no solution: growing debts, the social system that does not work, suffocating interest, stock market fractures, corporate bankruptcies. This is the result of manipulations on the global financial market. The history shows that the solution to such problems has many times been wars. This thesis is divided into eight interconnected chapters. In the introduction, I identified the problem, researched questions and explained the purpose and objectives of this thesis. Also, I described what methods would be used and thereby I set seven hypotheses, which I examined in the analytical part. In the second chapter, I described the history of gold and where it can be found, presented gold over time and its use, pointed out the reasons for buying. At the start of the third chapter I described gaining power and wealth. I focused on money without coverage, the gold standard and money and interest. The major part of this chapter is dedicated to the American Central Bank, which has big impact on the global financial market. The operation of Goldman Sachs Bank and its hunters in European Union and Slovenia is also described in detail. In fourth chapter, I presented the investment gold, the meaning of the LBMA, the chronological overview of investment gold in Slovenia and Slovenian well-established bidders of investment gold. I described the products of the company Karatbars International GmbH and solution with its new product called CASHGOLD. Here, I highlighted topics on financial literacy in Slovenia, whether banks in the European Union and Slovenia are safe, unified European rules for bank resolution and bank deposit guarantees. In addition, the comparison of the state pension with the gold investment shows to be very interesting. In fifth and sixth chapter, I devoted myself to researches and verification of the hypothesis. In the seventh and eight chapter, I offer suggestions of action, final thoughts and conclusions.
