Abstract:V diplomski nalogi obravnavamo povezanost mladih, natančneje mladostnikov, in glasbe oziroma poslušanje glasbe ter vplivom tega dejavnika na vrednote oseb pred prehodom v svet odraslih.

Abstract:The objective of this Bachelor's dissertation is to examine the connection between adolescents and music, specifically the relationship between the two and how music affects one’s values in the period before entering adulthood. I have begun my dissertation by defining the technical term 'adolescent' and continued with describing activities adolescents engage in to avoid stress. One of the activities is listening to music. Following are chapter of musical history with emphasis on decades where music industry marked adolescents as the target audience for consumption. The pre-empirical part consists of research questions and objectives, description of the research topic and methods used for it. The process of collecting references used for my BA dissertation is also outlined in this chapter. Following is a description of methodology and the evaluation of participants in qualitative analysis. The results are coded and the evaluation and comments given by participants in the qualitative analysis are also analysed in order to confirm the credibility of the given questions. The dissertation is completed with a summary of my findings. Added to it are possibilities on how to further develop this thematic.
