Title:Primerjava klasičnega kognitivno-vedenjskega pristopa in kognitivno-vedenjskega pristopa temelječega na čuječnosti za skupinsko obravnavo depresije : magistrska naloga študijskega programa druge stopnje

Abstract:Depresija sodi med najpogostejšo duševno motnjo. V zadnjih letih število ljudi, ki se spopada z depresijo, močno narašča. Kognitivno-vedenjska terapija se je izkazala za zelo učinkovito terapijo pri obravnavi depresivne motnje. V devetdesetih letih prejšnjega stoletja se je pojavila kognitivno-vedenjska terapija temelječa na čuječnosti, ki se je ravno tako izkazala za zelo učinkovito pri spopadanju z depresijo. V magistrski nalogi raziskujemo razlike med pristopoma in možnost dodajanja tehnik kognitivno-vedenjske terapije tehniki kognitivno-vedenjske terapije temelječe na čuječnosti. V teoretičnem delu najprej s pomočjo literature opišemo depresivno motnjo, osnove kognitivno-vedenjskega pristopa in osnove skupinske terapije. S tem opisom dobimo podlago za nadaljevanje opisov skupinskih protokolov kognitivno-vedenjske terapije ter kognitivno-vedenjske terapije temelječe na čuječnosti. Za lažje razumevanje protokola kognitivno-vedenjske terapije temelječega na čuječnosti najprej predstavimo čuječnost, nato začnemo z opisom protokola in poglavje zaključimo s predstavitvijo reševanja »miselnih napak«. Nalogo nadaljujemo s detajlnejšo primerjavo obeh pristopov. Pri tem se dotaknemo filozofskega ozadja obeh pristopov, veščin terapevtov, strukture srečanj, razlike pri obravnavi miselnih napak, primerjave zadolžitev med srečanji ter primerjamo uspešnost obeh pristopov. Na koncu pregledamo možnost dodajanja tehnik klasičnega kognitivno-vedenjskega pristopa tehniki temelječi na čuječnosti. V tem delu odgovorimo na vprašanja in podvprašanja magistrske naloge. Ugotovili smo, da kognitivno-vedenjski pristop temelječ na čuječnosti upošteva vse osnove klasičnega kognitivno-vedenjskega pristopa, vendar gre v primeru čuječega pristopa za popolnoma novo tehniko spopadanja z depresivno motnjo. Dodatno smo ugotovili, da tehniki temelječi na čuječnosti ne moremo dodati nobenih novih elementov kognitivno-vedenjske terapije. V razpravi smo podali naše ugotovitve in predloge za nadaljnje delo.

Abstract:Depression is one of the most common mental disorder. In past years number of people who are suffering from depression is drastically increasing. For treatment of depressive disorders turn out that cognitive-behavioral therapy is very effective. In early nineties of last century mindfulness based cognitive-behavioral therapy appeared. This treatment also turned out to be very effective for treatment of depression. In this master’s thesis we are trying to discover differences in both approach and in same time searching for possibilities to implement additional cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques to mindfulness based cognitive-behavioral therapy. With help of literature in theoretical part we are presenting depression disorder, bases of cognitive-behavioral therapy and group therapy. Initial presentation help us to get reference points for presentation of protocols based on group cognitive-behavioral therapy for depression and mindfulness based cognitive-behavioral therapy for depression. Before presenting protocol of mindfulness based cognitive-behavioral therapy for better understanding we introduce mindfulness. This section we conclude with description how mindfulness based therapy is facing with solving of dysfunctional thoughts. We are continuing thesis with detailed comparison of both approach. Comparison is made based on philosophical background of both approaches, therapists skills, therapies structures, difference in dealing with errors in thinking, comparison of homework's, effectiveness of both approaches and in the end we are searching for possibilities to add cognitive-behavioral techniques to mindfulness based cognitive-behavioral therapy. In this part of master’s thesis we are also answering on thesis questions. We find out that mindfulness cognitive-behavioral approach is following all bases of cognitive-behavioral approach but when we are speaking about techniques in case of mindfulness approach we are talking about completely new approach for depression disorder. Unfortunately we could not add any new techniques elements to mindfulness based cognitive therapy. In following discussion we describing our findings and proposal for future work.
