V ta namen smo uporabili kvantitativno metodo raziskave in izvedli raziskovalno anketo.

Abstract:It is hard not to notice the many struggles for equality in modern society. In this diploma thesis we drew attention to the fight for gender equality, specifically the struggles of women. Although there is a sense that developed economies have already achieved this goal, modern women have met new challenges, one of which is burnout syndrome. The topic of this thesis deals with the roles of modern women, and seeks to identify a correlation with the rising number of burnout cases among them. We have used the quantitative method of research and performed a survey, by which we have gained the opinions of many women who answered the following research questions: Is a woman really more likely to suffer a burnout than a man? What are the burdens of the double role of the heroine mother and successful businesswoman? Is motherhood a huge burden despite its beauty? Have we learnt to what extent women are influenced by society’s expectations versus their own? Do we have the answer about who comprises a woman’s support system, and whether the lack of her parner’s support is the reason for the ever-growing number of burnout cases among women? We have read through the literature that deals with inequality between the sexes and come to a conclusion about whether the differences between men and women are congenital or socially induced. An important result was found in reactions to the question; do women really have a smaller chance of success than men in the business world?
