Zato si mladi želijo aktivnega sodelovanja v procesu oblikovanja podnebnih politik, so pobudniki in podporniki ukrepanja in inovacij.

Abstract:In co-creating a climate-resilient society, it is essential to strengthen intergenerational cooperation through a fair and equitable evaluation of the needs of all generations. The younger generations need special attention, as they will undoubtedly be the ones most affected by climate change. At the same time, young people will play a key role in the processes of transition to a low-carbon society, and thus also in the introduction of systemic technological and social changes and innovations. Therefore, young people want to take an active part in the process of climate policy design, they are the initiators and supporters of action and innovation. The article is focused on the empowerment of young people and on the opportunities that emerge for them in the era of climate change, especially in the field of education and employment. Performed analyses has revealed that many climate services are already gaining ground on the market, providing climate information and data, thus supporting individuals and organizations from various fields in making decisions and adaptation measures. Based on these knowledge and tools, new green jobs and environmentally friendly services are also envisaged. The climate services market will continue to strengthen in the future, including increasing opportunities for education and employment for young people.
