Abstract:In the thesis, we will discuss the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic on families and education. With help of expert guidelines, we will try to answer the question of whether the epidemic has negatively affected the education process and what solutions have been implemented. We were mainly interested in the measures taken regarding closure of educational institutions and how this has affected children with special needs and socially endangered families. We will also briefly touch on »teleworking« and point out how such an institute solves the issues of everyday challenges. In addition, we will also consider the absence of a parent from work due to the obligation to care for a child within the institute of force majeure. During the epidemic and with the Decree on the temporary partial restriction of movement of people, many parents interpreted that as a reason to reducing or limiting the child's contact with a second parent. We will explore the right to access, which is the right of both the child and the parent. We will also investigate those challenges in a conversation with a mediator and lawyer and an expert from the Social Work Center. The final part of the thesis will be devoted to domestic by reviewing statistical data collected by police work, and reports and data from non-governmental organizations.. We will investigate preventive measures in this area, and how families were taken care of at the state level, as part of measures to eliminate and mitigate the consequences of the epidemic
