Abstract:V magistrskem delu z naslovom Vpliv demografskih sprememb na čakalne vrste v zdravstvu smo obravnavali demografijo prebivalstva v Sloveniji.

Abstract:In the master's thesis entitled The Impact of Demographic Changes on Queues in Health Care, we discussed the demography of the population in Slovenia. In the following, we defined the age composition of the population and determined the share of the population by age groups. We presented the queues in healthcare, which have been a topical issue for many years, and identified possible causes for their occurrence. We focused on waiting lists and their management in compliance with legal regulations. We discussed measures and government projects to reduce queues that have proven to be partially effective. Before preparing the analyzes, we also focused on trends and causes that, according to the findings, also affect health care. With the obtained data we prepared analyzes of queues and waiting times for health services in cardiology of ultrasound of the heart and MR of the head and skeleton at the General Hospital Jesenice, we prepared an analysis of the age composition of waiting in queues and based on previously performed analyzes a hypothesis we did not reject. The prepared analyzes would be an excellent starting point as an example of good practice for all hospitals as well as for the relevant institutions, as it would be easier to prepare certain measures for individual services on the basis of the obtained data. In writing the work, we used the historical, descriptive, quantitative and comparative method, as well as the method of observation with our own participation, and finally the method of synthesis.
