Rezultati: Najuspešnejša fizioterapevtska metoda zdravljenja kalcificirajočega tendinitisa ramenskega sklepa so udarni globinski valovi. Operativno zdravljenje je uspešno, vendar prinaša tveganje za pooperativne zaplete. Uporabnost: Ugotovitve so uporabne v klinični praksi pri fizioterapevtski obravnavi pacienta s kalcificirajočim tendinitisom ramenskega sklepa. Omejitve: Premalo izvedenih raziskav o učinkovitosti terapevtskega ultrazvoka, kinezioterapije in elektroterapije pri zdravljenju kalcificirajočega tendinitisa ramenskega sklepa in nedostopnost člankov. Ključne besede: Kalcificirajoči tendinitis, ramenski sklep, fizioterapija, zdravljenje. Tip dela: Diplomska naloga 1. stopnje; Leto 2021, Fizioterapevtika 26 (42) str., 1 pregl., 5 sl., 56 vir. Mentorica (S. Pavlič Založnik), recenzentka (F. Kresal).

Title:Effectiveness of physioterapeutic treatment in a patient with calcific tendinitis of the sholder joint
Abstract:KEY INFORMATION ABOUT GRADUATION THESIS BOŽNAR, Eva: Success Rate of Physical Therapy for Patient with Calcific Tendinitis of the Shoulder Introduction and purpose: Calcific tendinitis of the shoulder is a condition that occurs due to the deposition of calcium hydroxyapatite crystals in the tendons of the rotator cuff muscles. The purpose of the graduation thesis is to present the anatomy of the shoulder, the pathology of calcific tendinitis, and its treatment. Methods: The systematic literature review encompassed studies conducted between 2002 and 2020. The studies that described different physical therapy procedures for treating calcific tendinitis of the shoulder were included. Results: The most successful physical therapy method of treating calcific tendinitis of the shoulder is extracorporeal shock wave therapy. Surgical treatment is successful but carries the risk of postoperative complications. Usability: The findings are useful in clinical practice in the physiotherapeutic treatment of patients with calcific tendinitis of the shoulder joint. Limitations: Lack of research into the effectiveness of therapeutic ultrasound, kinesiotherapy and electrotherapy in treating calcific tendinitis of the shoulder, and the inaccessibility of articles. Keywords: Calcific tendinitis, shoulder, physical therapy, treatment. Type: Graduation Thesis (BSc); 2021, Fizioterapevtika 26 (42) p., 1 tab., 5 fig., 56 ref. Supervisor (S. Pavlič Založnik), Reviewer (F. Kresal).
