Title:Pomen interoceptivnega zavedanja pri plesalcih

Abstract:Interocepcija prinaša informacije o notranjem stanju telesa. Vezana je na notranje organe (npr. napetost mišic, utrip srca) in je pomembna za ohranjanje vitalnih funkcij telesa kot so lakota, žeja, spanje, razpoloženje, stanje vzburjenosti. Gre za avtonomne funkcije, ki jih posameznik lahko ozavesti in s tem pripomore k boljšemu interoceptivnemu zavedanju. Zaznava teh notranjih stanj in dogajanj telesa je povezana s čustvi. Mnoge dosedanje raziskave so pokazale, da lahko interoceptivno zavedanje pripomore k boljši telesni in čustveni regulaciji. Zavedanje telesa je še posebej pomembno za sodobne plesalce, saj je telo njihov medij sporočanja in hkrati vir sporočila. Sodobni plesalci mnogokrat iščejo navdih in material za ustvarjanje v svojih telesnih občutkih, ki se v interakciji z določeno vsebino porajajo. Namen diplomske naloge je prepoznati pomen interoceptivnega zavedanja kot orodja s katerim si lahko plesalci pri svojem delu in čustvovanju pomagajo. Cilj naloge je bil raziskati pomen interoceptivnega zavedanja pri sodobnih plesalcih, pri čemer smo se osredotočali na telesni in čustveni vidik. V anketo je bilo vključenih 77 plesalcev sodobnega plesa, pri čemer je bila njihova povprečna starost 28,77 let. Uporabili smo vprašalnik interoceptivnega zavedanja MAIA in podlestvico vprašalnika za ugotavljanje težav z uravnavanjem čustev DERS. Pri raziskovanju smo uporabili kvantitativno metodo, iskali smo povezanost med spremenljivkami s Spearmanovim koeficientom korelacije. Rezultati so pokazali povezanost interoceptivnega zavedanja z zavedanjem pomena stika s telesom in čustvi za lastno pristnost in avtentičnost kot tudi povezanost z zavedanjem čustev in telesnih občutkov. Prav tako smo ugotovili, da med mlajšimi in starejšimi plesalci obstajajo razlike v interoceptivnem zavedanju. Razlike v interoceptivnem zavedanju obstajajo tudi med plesalci s krajšim in plesalci z daljšim plesnim stažem. Rezultati naloge kažejo na to, da je interoceptivno zavedanje preprosto, dosegljivo in učinkovito orodje za izboljšanje samoregulacije telesnih in čustvenih stanj. Interoceptivno zavedanje je smiselno načrtno oz. zavestno razvijati pri plesalcih sodobnega plesa.

Title:The importance of interoceptive awareness in dancers
Abstract:Interoception provides information about the internal state of the body. It is related to internal organs (e.g. muscle tension, heart rate) and is important for maintaining vital body functions such as hunger, thirst, sleep, mood, state of arousal. The individual can become aware of these autonomous functions that can contribute to better interoceptive awareness. The perception of these internal states and events of the body correlate with emotions. Many studies to date have shown that interoceptive awareness can contribute to better physical and emotional regulation. Body awareness is especially important for contemporary dancers, as the body is their medium of communication and at the same time the source of the message. Contemporary dancers often look for inspiration and creative material in their bodily sensations, which arise in interaction with certain content. The purpose of the Thesis »The importance of interoceptive awareness in dancers« is to recognize the importance of interoceptive awareness as a tool with which dancers can help themselves with their work and emotion regulation. The aim of the Thesis was to explore the importance of interoceptive awareness in contemporary dancers, focusing on the physical and emotional aspects. The survey included 77 contemporary dancers, with an average age of 28.77 years. We used the MAIA interoceptive awareness questionnaire and the subscript of the DERS emotion management questionnaire. We used the quantitative method, we looked for the connection between the variables with Spearman's correlation coefficient. The results show the connection between interoceptive awareness and awareness of the importance of contact with the body and emotions for one's own authenticity, as well as the connection with awareness of emotions and bodily feelings. We also found differences in interoceptive awareness between younger and older dancers as well as between dancers with less and more experience. The results of the research show that interoceptive awareness is a simple, achievable and effective tool for improving the self-regulation of physical and emotional states. We propose it is sensible to consciously develope this trait in contemporary dancers.
