Najpogosteje so doživljali stres zaradi dolgotrajnega nošenja začitne opreme, števila pacientov, velikega števila umrlih in pomanjkanja kadra. S komunikacijo v zdravstvenem timu so bili fizioterapevti v povprečju zadovoljni.

Title:Experience of physiotherapists with working on covid ward
Abstract:The global pandemic SARS - CoV - 2, which marked the world, was declared in March 2020. Above all, it affected the mental and physical health of health professionals who were battling the new and unknown virus in the first place. The purpose of this thesis is to present the experience of physiotherapists who performed their work in covid wards during the epidemic. Research has shown that physiotherapists did not often experience feelings of fear, anxiety and threat, nor did women more often than men. We only noticed the difference between the sexes in experiencing fear, but they experienced it occasionally and not often. They most often experienced stress due to long-term wearing of protective equipment, the number of patients, the large number of deaths and the lack of staff. On average, physiotherapists were satisfied with the communication in the medical team. Dissatisfaction was shown only in communication with nurses. We can conclude that the obtained results are a good starting point for further research in this area. We suggest an additional research to be conducted that will cover a larger sample of physiotherapists.
