Abstract:Bralna kultura je danes postavljena v težke čase, saj je v senci hitre digitalizacije zapostavljena. Zaradi rasti tehnologije in različnih dostopov do knjig (knjige so dostopne v e-oblikah) imajo knjižnice težko nalogo, kako privabiti in obdržati bralce. V nalogi preučujemo pričakovanja in zadovoljstvo uporabnikov Potujoče knjižnice v Posočju. Njihova pričakovanja so večinoma izpolnjena.

Title:Expectations and satisfaction of users of the mobile library in Posočje
Abstract:Today, the reading culture is faced with difficult times, as it is neglected in the shadow of rapid digitization. Due to the growth of technology and different access to books (books are available in e-formats), libraries have a difficult task of attracting and retaining readers. In the thesis, we examine the expectations and satisfaction of the users of the mobile library in the Soča Valley. Such a topic was chosen mainly because we believe that the reading culture is a current topic and there is not much written about it in this area. The theory in the master's thesis, where we discussed general concepts, was supported by structured interviews. We reached the expected results, namely, the interviewees who participated in the survey were generally satisfied with the mobile library. Their expectations were mostly met. The thesis offers quite a few suggestions for improving the mobile library. Most of the interviewees agree that the materials in the mobile library should be arranged to make searching easier, the lighting of the space should be better, there should be a greater selection of modern literature, and a longer stop is needed where the number of visitors is higher. The interviews lead to an interesting conclusion, namely that everyone was satisfied with the staff at the mobile library, which means that the employees met the expectations of the users, making it a big advantage for the mobile library. Since a new bibliobus is coming soon, the obtained results can thus help in organizing and improving the mobile library.
