Abstract:“Koliko računanja, koliko truda, koliko zmot, koliko popravkov, koliko tisočletij prizadevanj je človeštvo vložilo v računanje koledarja!” Preučili smo vrste različnih koledarjev, njihov namen in način uporabe. Rezultate ankete smo prikazali s procentualnimi grafi. Ugotovili smo, da koledarje generacije različno poznajo in različno uporabljajo.

Title:THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE PRINTED AND DIGITAL CALENDAR
Abstract:The relationship between the printed and digital calendar "How much calculation, how much effort, how many mistakes, how many corrections, how many millennia of effort, humanity has invested in calculating the calendar!" (Kunaver 2019) Time is precise and above all vulnerable. When the first day of the new year begins, we already have a new printed or digital calendar with us, which is the foundation of today's civilization and the basis for every individual and today's society to find themselves in this time and space. We live in a time where time flies in front of us and the life pace is accelerated, so a printed or digital calendar is particularly useful. The thesis is based on research of the use of printed and digital calendars. We were interested in which of them are used more and why, and whether it depends on the generation. A good understanding and knowledge of the theory of printed and digital calendars was first necessary for successful research. We examined the types of different calendars, their purpose and how to use them. We were also interested in which calendars are useful in modern times in different generations and which are not. In the diploma thesis, we determined which type is used the most or the least and what are the reasons for their use. After examining each printed and digital calendar, as well as the typography itself on the calendars, we were interested in which calendars different generations use daily and several times a day. The main results of the thesis are the use of calendars and the relationship between printed and digital calendars and knowledge of different calendars for daily use. We answered all these questions with the help of quantitative analysis and a questionnaire. The results of the survey were shown with percentage graphs. We found that generations know and use calendars differently.
